10 INDUSTRY CHALLENGES, 10 PoC, 10 LAUREATES
Coming up with its Call for Expressions of interest part of Long term Investments Program focused on “Digital Challenges”, the Executive Investment Committee handed over to Teratec the implementation and execution, with promotion and follow-up of 10 digital challenges.
The initiative aims at developing an open innovation spirit between major companies faced with high digital stakes to include SME’s and start-ups providing such innovative technologies thereto. Teaming-up with its sponsors in related application fields, Airbus Safran Launchers, Alstom, Axereal, GE, Gemalto, Noriap, along with Intel, its strategic partner in technology, hosted by BPI France on March 2nd, 2017 Teratec launched the 10 digital challenges in the key areas of Big Data, smart objects, 3D prototyping and printing, multiple / crowd and user friendly approaches.
These challenges spread over all major application fields: City and urban systems, Food and Agriculture, Manufacturing industries as well as Safety/Security.
These challenges focus on revealing breakthrough solutions to reach implementation of any related Proof of Concept or “PoC” serving as prime reference thus allowing Prizewinners to get their solutions quicker to market.
Among 33 projects received competing for this challenge, the award Committee for DataPoC program nominated 10 Laureates based on selection criteria defined by the DataPoC Digital Challenges as its general rule. Each Laureate will be given about 12 months to achieve its PoC introducing innovative solutions.
