Biographie : Philippe Gesnouin has been working at Inria for about ten years at the General Delegation for Innovation where he is in charge of promoting technology transfer to the field of healthcare and life sciences and of Inria's participation in the activities of EIT Digital and EIT Health. He also contributes to the coordination of the ICT & Health inter clusters action carried out by the Ile-de-France clusters Cap Digital, Systematic and Medicen. Previously, Philippe had the opportunity to work for the Genethon laboratory from its creation, in the United States for two biotechnology companies before becoming one of the co-founders of the company Integragen. Since March 2020, Philippe also co-leads the Inria Covid-19 mission. | |
Biographie : Richard Bosmans started his career in the microelectronics industry before leading a research team in a company of automotive equipments. In 1991 he joined Essilor International, the leading manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses, where he held several managing positions in the field of surface coating and materials engineering within its R&D centers in France and USA. As a scientific director of the Materials department, he later supervised the company’s scientific collaborations in Europe/North America/Asia and created the communities of experts of the Essilor group. From 2009, Richard joined the newly created NEIJRC (Nikon and Essilor International Joint Research Center) in Tokyo and became President of this unique joint venture company between two world industry leaders, fully dedicated to research activities in the field of optics and materials science. Richard returned to France in 2016 to expand the external partnerships and public funding of Essilor R&D, actively promoting an open innovation policy, espec. with the healthcare RDI ecosystems of Europe. |
