Virtualization of HPC service to satisfy user needs
Abstract : Progress made in the past few years on virtualization technologies and web services allows IT administrators to build and deliver more easily HPC solutions. However such progress didn’t really helped addressing the end-user need for simplicity in accessing and using their applications. We’ll cover in this talk how NICE Software solutions, Enginframe and DCV allows end-users to fully use HPC resources without investing in complex skills building strong IT skills through the use of powerful and intuitive web based solutions.

Biography : At NICE Software, Philippe Bricard is in charge of developing partnerships and strategic alliances with major actors of the HPC ecosystem. Formerly at IBM where he was in charge of the European HPC teams of the vendor, Philippe, as a passionate of technology, is convinced that innovations stem from their usages. |
