The international meeting for Simulation and High Performance Computing
The TERATEC Forum is a major event in France and Europe that brings together the best international experts in HPC, Simulation and Big Data. It reaffirms the strategic importance of these technologies for developing industrial competitiveness and innovation capacity.
Due to the circumstances generated by the COVID-19 pandemic and decisions made by the governments of countries from which the Exhibitors, Speakers and Participants are coming, we decided to transform the Forum Teratec 2020 into one 100% Digital event, the Teratec Digital Forum 2020 held on same planned dates, next October 13 and 14, 2020.
The evolution of the pandemic does not provide all required serenity in October to welcome visitors whose movements will still be very restricted. As current events have shown yet, it is more than ever essential to maintain this annual meeting of the Simulation, HPC, Big Data and AI community. We are setting up a large digital platform that we prepared and which allows us to carry out the essence of our program and its various components.
The morning of Tuesday 13, October will be devoted to Plenary Sessions and Round Tables with participation of French and European political figures, and senior industrial managers involved either as technology developers or major users will also take part of it.
Six technical and application workshops will be organized in the form of webinars on Tuesday afternoon, October 13 (Digital-Twin in Medicine, Quantum Computing) and all day Wednesday, October 14 (Satellite Data and Environment, AI and Scientific Computing, Cloud Computing and HPC, Exascale). And the Simulation and AI Awards ceremony will take place in the afternoon of October 13.
During these two days, a virtual exhibition environment will bring together a large number of technology companies presenting their latest innovations in the fields of Simulation, HPC, Big Data and AI. The digital platform will allow exhibitors and participants to share B2B meeting plans as well as product and service offers presented thanks to powerful communication tools.
