Biography: Jean-Philippe Nomine
HPC Strategic Collaborations Manager, HPC Fellow, CEA
Since 15 years, after different technical and managing positions in CEA HPC division, in particular in software development and engineering, and high performance visualization, Dr. Nominé has mostly focused on the development of European HPC activities. He contributed in particular to the early development and operations of PRACE aisbl, of ETP4HPC Association, of Horizon 2020 HPC Public Private Partnership, and to various technical or ecosystem development European HPC projects. He is now involved in activities related to EuroHPC. Dr. Nominé is a member of ETP4HPC Association Steering Board.
Biography: Patrick Carribault
Global Quantum Computing Technology Advisor and Head Computing France, Eviden
Patrick Carribault joined CEA in 2008 after obtaining a doctorate in computer science on the subject of high-performance computing and a post-doctorate at the University of Austin in Texas. He was involved in the development of the software stack for supercomputers, as well as in R&D on computing processors with industrial companies in the sector. Since 2022, Patrick Carribault has been a CEA Fellow in the area of high-performance computing and quantum integration. He is also a lecturer at Ecole Polytechnique.
Biography:Olivier Hess
HPC Fellow, CEA
Olivier Hess joined Atos (now Eviden) in 2021 as head of quantum computing activities. He is in charge of the development of Quantum Computing activities, the promotion of solutions and the coordination of strategic partnerships for Eviden in France. He is a member of various initiatives for Quantum Technologies in France and Europe. Before joining Eviden, Olivier held several positions at IBM in the field of scientific computing (HPC) in France and Europe; He joined the IBM Quantum Experience team in 2016 as an IBM Quantum Ambassador. Olivier obtained his doctorate at the University of Paris VI in the specialty Quantum Chemistry
