Biography: Caroline Bono is a Senior Research Engineer and Project Lead at EDF R&D, specializing in the modeling and prospective analysis of the European electricity system. With deep expertise in integrating variable renewable energies into the power grid, she currently focuses on the strategic deployment of critical infrastructures, particularly hyperscale data centers. Her work involves cross-analyzing land availability, power grid connections, and environmental constraints to ensure sustainable integration within local territories, actively driving innovations like cooling optimization and waste heat recovery.
