Identification and modelization of critical scenarios for digital validation of Autonomous Vehicles

La mise en circulation des véhicules autonomes implique un niveau de sécurité très élevé, supérieur à celui des conducteurs humains. La démonstration de ce niveau de sécurité passera par des validations numériques du comportement des systèmes de perception et de commande des véhicules, dans des séquences issues de l’identification et la modélisation des scénarios critiques de roulages réels. L’Institut VEDECOM pilote le Projet MOOVE, qui regroupe les acteurs français du véhicule particulier, et construit une base de données mutualisée de scénarios critiques.

Biographie :  With a degree from the “Ecole Centrale de Paris” Luc Marbach has 32 years of experience in the automotive industry with PSA Group. After 10 years spent in production, he went towards the conception of vehicles. He was Project Director of 207 (launched in 2006) and DS5 (launched in 2011), and then Senior Vice-President for upper-range vehicles programs of PSA Groupe. He recently led the negotiations of an important project of international partnership of PEUGEOT. Since October 2016, he is the Managing Director of the “Institute for Energy Transition” (ITE) VEDECOM
