September 4, 2015 - ALINEOS: “HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING” training course on 6-8 October 2015

ALINEOS provides courses in a function- and branch-oriented manner twice a year. This training specifically aims at addressing the needs of teachers, researchers, system administrators. The 3-day session will be centred on four workshops focusing on:

• Linux clusters’ management (1/2 day)
• Administering and using Torque and Maui (1/2 day)
• Basic features of GPU Computing and the CUDA architecture (1 day)
• Parallel computations with MPI(1 day)

In the unique surroundings of the Bourron Marlotte castle (only at 45 minutes from Paris), this training will allow you to develop faster and achieve better autonomy for optimized use of parallel computing with clusters.

Computing power on demand

Whatever your constraints or requirements (power, time or spaces), all our products can be rent for short or long term, delivered on site or hosted in our datacenter. Alineos has its own materials at your disposal for rent: computers, CAO workstations, servers, clusters. Our available resources are managed, configured and optimised for your codes by our engineers. For occasional needs, the short-term rent is a flexible and customised solution. According to the evolution of your needs during your contract, you can switch the materials, but also turn your contract into long-term or purchase.

For long-term rent, there are two financial options (1) :

• Classical long-term rental with a very attractive price and the return of the leased items at the end of the contract.
• Long-term rental with deferred interest which enables you to pay interest only at the end of the rental contract or to simply cancel them in case of subscription of a new contract (or renewal).

The availability of materials is very fast: between 24 or 48 hours according to the requested configuration. On site or hosted, you have got a direct access to your files and you can control your code and datas on a 24 hour/7 day basis.
