Eric Genevois-Marlin, Global Head of R&D Digital and Data Sciences, Sanofi

	Biographie : Eric Genevois-Marlin is VP, Global Head of R&D Digital and Data Sciences. He was trained as a statistician and spent most of his career at Sanofi and its legacy companies, Rhone-Poulenc-Rorer and Aventis, working on drug development, at all stages and in a variety of therapeutic domains. After having served as VP of Biostatistics and Programming for 12 years, Eric was appointed as Head of R&D Digital and Data Sciences (DDS) in 2019 and created the new R&D DDS platform. In this role, he leads the R&D digital strategy development and implementation, and coordinates all related initiatives, jointly with R&D ITS and all R&D functions. DDS platform was also built to become a center of analytical excellence for R&D, developing expertise in modeling, simulation, artificial intelligence/machine learning and data governance to support Sanofi projects / portfolio / therapeutic areas and all R&D functions (research, development, clinical operations, CMC, regulatory and portfolio management). Eric holds a degree of statistician from Institute of Statistics from University of Paris (ISUP), at University Pierre et Marie Curie. re ligne du combat face à la pandémie de la CO-VID et ses conséquences.
