Big Data: Optimizing decision making through Data Analytics

The era of digitalization induces continually growing volumes of data. In a world where the processing of these data has become a major economic issue, companies and research centers must develop powerful analytic models to extract relevant information and make their offers or research more competitive. In this context, the decision is increasingly guided by the interpretation of these data, reinforcing the simulation and sometimes intuition.

However, the processing and valorization of large amounts of data require substantial computing resources and specific algorithm implementation able to take advantage of the distributed computing infrastructures resources.

This workshop highlights the use of analytical models in complex HPC environments. We will see the latest trends in this field through presentations on mathematical models, the parallelization of data processing algorithms and various computer infrastructure to meet the challenges of Big Data: the calculation means, high performance storage, etc.
